I have to disagree with this statement. I work with a lot of democratic union types and many of my relatives are left wingers but there is one thing they almost all agree on and that is illegal immigration. The dumb ones and the smart ones, the wealthy ones and the poor ones all are sick of seeing marches having some places in this country where Spanish is the only language and having the elitists tell them what is best for them. Illegal immigration is one issue where I think the majority of people are all getting on the same page. I know just using my circle of family friends and acquaintances is not scientific or a good indicator for the country as a whole but I have never seen them all talk about and agree with me and my friends, who are conservative, on any issue other than this.

I never watch these programs. Most of these "speakers" look like they'll spout off the same old predictable propaganda blather. So far, I haven't guessed wrong about them.

However, Newt Gingrich is usually refreshingly original in his thinking. Maybe I'll see what he has to say.

I;m watching reliable sources; Woffie Blitzer is discussing his strategy for the debate tonight. Not let the candidates just give their 30/60 senate sound bites, but he will challenge them (yeah right)! I’ll still watch the debate because I will want to compare how the pubbies are treated later in the week. I can imagine tonight will be softballing questions.

Any third party is most likely headed by Bloomberg, which wouldn’t draw any conservatives from our guys. As for a guy like Tancredo from the right...maybe he could find money but imho couldn’t find enough followers.

You are probably correct but I do not like the disloyal way he is going about it.

I suppose with Newt the means to an end does not matter. To me it is a lack of morality and class.
