There is a difference between Blitzer and Kronkite. I can't help but respect Kronkite for his ability to keep his politics to himself until after he retired his position of influence on public opinion.

Actually, once Cronkite turned against the war, which he did with great fanfare on his live newscasts, he was responsible for turning a large portion of middle America with him. He, along with a few others, forced the withdrawal of American troops, and the subsequent slaughter.
