Many Americans—and especially those who see themselves as conservative—identify "rugged individualism"

Which is why the current crop of "Conservatives" in the Media and on the Radio are all sitting around whining "Why doesn't some one come do this for us" "Why don't they do that for us".

This may of been true once, now all "Conservatives" seem capable of is endless whining.

I think a lot of conservatives are finally coming around to the conclusion that when you hold your nose & vote for the one “who can win” - that you get what you vote for!

Fool me once - shame on you, fool me twice - shame on me. I won’t be fooled again. Americans need to start voting according to their values & principles or we are doomed.

You’re right, whining won’t accomplish this - but we do need to get the word out that a large number of us are watching the candidates intently & we won’t be voting the “party line” anymore. Those days are over - I hope!

America's first Socialist/Communist President will surely happen if we don't start acting like responsible adults. To my Democratic friends - Draft Joe Lieberman; how can you give the keys to family car to an inexperienced driver (Obama) and hope you don’t get a call in the middle of the night that the car is wrecked.

To my conservative friends, forget Rudy (America's Mayor hasn't a clue of anything west of the Hudson River) or McCain (sadly lacking in grey matter plus he "pledges his troth" to the wrong politicians), push for Romney or Thompson, experience and toughness count. People who will vote because of “the first Black” or “the first woman” should not be voting at all, their reasoning has nothing to do with the issues or leadership.
