Folks around here confuse their personal political opinions for the "will of the people".

Kind of interesting that all the candidates who are most in line with the hard core Freepers political dogmas cannot even get over 5% in the preference polls. So who are the Hard Core "Conservatives" going to blame if their pet candidates get rejected in the primaries? Doubtlessly they will rationalize it as the fault of the GOP Establishment.

The Purists are going to run into the hard cold political reality that elections are won by coalitions of interests, not by the candidate who claim to be the most doctrinally pure.

I prefer to think of the "Purists" as you call them, the "Paul Revere's" of our day. The first step toward change is to get the word out! Most people are just looking for a leader to tell them what to do - if we put the right leader out there - most people will go along with him.

The hard, cold reality is that my party has been taken over by a bunch of Globalist Elite Country Club Republicans and they do not care what is best for America - they only care what is best for their bank accounts. We "purists" can see it plain as day & now it is up to us to get on the horse, grab a lantern & race through the streets of the darkened, sleepy villages & spread the news!!!
