So what's with the NG teaser about "A mission that went terribly wrong"???
I'm pretty fed up with MSM/PC ideas about war, especially liberal's ideas about USSF, and don't much trust NG.
Until otherwise convinced, I've determined that there must be something else on TV at that hour, or maybe I'll finish that book I've been reading in three page bursts.

An IED killed two of the soldiers and wounded a National Geographic cameraman and the producer. To say it "went terribly wrong" was an understatement.
It was a good show, although they spent a helluva lot of time on how the Green Berets were working with the villagers and tribal elders, and what the Taliban was doing before Americans showed up (executing lots of people in soccer stadiums, etc.). Interesting show, and positive. Did a good job of showing how independent the Special Forces have to be in regards to handling the different tribes. I was impressed with "Rob", the commander (and it helps that he graduated from the same university I did :-) ). The guy was 30 years old and making decisions that affected thousands of Afghanistans and dozens of tribes. We are turning out some great young men and women.
