I’m a great fan of John Wayne. I found it quite refreshing that a member of an industry that produces such a disproportionate share of those devoted to treason and sedition could be pro American. Beyond that he was an actor.
The percentage of those is actually quite small. They just get press attention in a way that auto mechanics with the same enthusiams would not.
