Why not round up some illegal-alien and other federal felons, sentence each to hard labor for a term of years, and compel them to haul away these trash on the chain-gangs?

A long time ago, I used to live in East Los Angeles. When there was ever any kind of holiday, the next day the parks were so covered with pampers, it looked like it had snowed the day before. They throw their trash everywhere except the trash cans.
They must be homesick.

Come one, America! We should have nice little paved walkways with shade trees, drinking fountains, and waste receptacles labeled in Spanish. At night, we could have cute gas lights come on so no one trips. And medic stations every 1/4 mile.
There are many of these stories and photos out there of the damage on the Border. Take a look at this link for photos of what they’re doing all over our national parks and forests. Absolute destruction of thousands and thousands of acres all over this country every year.
I’ve contacted the enviro groups and get zip! But that shouldn’t stop us.

It may be an old story but conditions have not changed. The article did not mention the region from Sasabe through Nogales to the Huachucas which in parts is worse than anything to be seen in the Tohono O’odham Indian rez. Even worse, hikers no longer feel free to roam the region around Pena Blanca Lake, or Ruby Mine or Sycamore Canyon, or parts of the Harshaw. The names mean nothing to most folks, but they were a small slice of Paradise in southern Arizona. As you can see from the article the abettors worry that the poor dears may have problems crossing the border. They place water jugs at strategic points. When the ranchers and Indians threaten to beat the hmmmm out of them the feds warn that any such action will result in jail time for the patriots, of sorry, miscreants. It’s a topsy-turvy world folks and the Mexican criminal element has actually found an ally in the Congress of the United States and the Bush administration. In case you didn’t know, the Border Patrol is so demoralized that most so-called agents don’t even bother to do their job. As for Customs people, they don’t even give a close look to those entering the US with purported US documentation. However, enter the country with two bottles of booze and you are in real trouble. The liquor monopoly, whose major ally is John McCain (and his beer-baron wife) has got them well trained.
