Nuclear Terrorist Linked to JFK Plot

Nuclear Terrorist Linked to JFK Plot

Last Thursday, NewsMax.com featured an in-depth story on a little-known name in the terrorist underworld who nevertheless has been called the most wanted man in America because of his efforts to explode nuclear devices.

Now Monday's New York Post is reporting in a Page-One cover story that this same man is the suspected "invisible hand” behind the plot to bomb a fuel pipeline feeding New York’s JFK airport.

This terrorist is Adnan el-Shukrijumah, the so-called "Fixer" behind the 9/11 attacks.

He is perhaps the most dangerous man in the world because a stunning new book, "The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World," by a former FBI consultant reveals that this man is leading al-Qaida's scheme to detonate nuclear devices in several U.S. cities.

The Post calls el-Shukrijumah the "so called nuclear-whiz kid” — a "tantalizing terror figure” with a $5 million bounty on his head.

According to the paper, el-Shukrijumah was "the radical big shot investigators hoped to snag in their 18-month JFK-plot probe.”

The Post also confirmed that he is same man Osama bin Laden has tapped to hatch the terror group's nuclear plan in the U.S.

According to law enforcement sources, el-Shukrijumah's name surfaced several times during the FBI's surveillance of the JFK plotters' phone conversations.

Three of the JFK plotters were natives of Guyana, as was Adnan. The Guyana connection caused raised eyebrows among U.S. investigators. One law enforcement source told the Post that Adnan was "always in the shadows."

The U.S. was allowing the JFK plot to continue in hopes of snatching el-Shukrijumah, but had to make arrests when one of the conspirators planned to fly from Trinidad to Venezuela, where the U.S. has no extradition rights...

We’ve been warned many times of the threat of terrorism and our southern neighbors.

And even Rumsfeld put out the warning! (2005) http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0411/16/ldt.01.html

DOBBS: Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is warning of the threat of terrorists entering this country through the same routes as those used by illegal aliens. Secretary Rumsfeld, traveling in South America, warned that enemies look for weaknesses and take advantage of them.

DONALD RUMSFELD, SECRETARY OF DEFENSE: The risk is that some of these human-smuggling routes into our country from this hemisphere could be used just as easily for terrorists.

DOBBS: And three million illegal aliens are estimated to be entering this country this year.

Secretary Rumsfeld also said the United States has to be, as he put it, smarter and quicker in securing our borders. The federal government’s failure to secure those borders is leading individual states to take action. Arizona’s Proposition 200, which limits state benefits for illegals, passed overwhelmingly two weeks ago. Now at least half a dozen other states are considering similar measures.

Consider the following 5 statements by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson given at a Senate Floor Speech 16 March 2005
to President George.W. Bush (page S 2828).

1. “In Detroit, Mahmoud Youssef Kourani was indicted in the Eastern District of Michigan on one count of conspiracy
to provide material support to Hezbollah. Kourani was already in custody for entering the country illegally
through Mexico and was involved in fund raising activities on behalf of Hezbollah.”
2. “...the capture of terrorist suspect Jose Padilla. The Justice Department says Padilla and an accomplice planned
to enter the United States through Mexico to blow up apartment buildings in major cities such as New York.”
3. “Or the case of suspected al-Qaida sleeper agent Mohammed Junaid Babar, who told investigators of a scheme
to smuggle terrorists across the Mexican border. He is tied to a terror plot to carry out bombings and
assassinations in London.”
4. “Intelligence reports suggesting that 25 Chechen terrorism suspects have illegally entered the United States from
Mexico have refocused attention on a porous border from which many believe the next major attack on
Americans could come.”
5. “Also last July, an Egyptian man United States authorities described as one of their most wanted smugglers of
humans was arrested on charges of operating a ring that illegally brought people from Egypt and other Middle
Eastern countries to the United States. The indictment says Abdallah and his associates would direct people
seeking to reach the United States to travel to one of several Latin American countries, and from there to
Guatemala. They would then be transported to America through Mexico in return for payments of thousands of
dollars in smuggling fees.”

It is blatantly obvious even to the most casual reader that Islamic terrorists have been, and continue to, cross the
U.S./Mexico border into America.

Oh, yes. Let's see, his mother lives in Florida, he took flying lessons in Florida... And see also:

WHERE IS ADNAN SHUKRIJUMAH?

By Michelle Malkin · August 18, 2004 08:09 AM

Adnan G. El Shukrijumah is a Saudi terror suspect with a $5 million bounty on his head. The FBI has been hunting him for nearly a year. He has been billed as the "next Mohammed Atta." Only unlike Atta, he isn't flying in and out of our airports. He's apparently dancing around the southern border, down Mexico way. According to the El Paso Times:

Officials on both sides of the border have asked law enforcement officials, including Border Patrol agents and El Pasos bridge inspectors, as well as the community at large to be on the lookout for Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, 29, a native of Saudi Arabia who may be using a Guyanese, Canadian or Trinidadian passport.

Shukrijumah was spotted in Honduras earlier this year, FBI officials said, and used to reside in Trinidad and Tobago, off the coast of Latin America. "He is believed to be one of the most dangerous cell leader below the leadership of al-Qaeda who plans to hurt the United States," Art Werge, spokesman for the FBI in El Paso, said.

Officials said Shukrijumah might be using immigrant-smuggling routes through Central America and Mexico to get to the border...

Meanwhile, Joe D’Agostino at Human Events reports that there is no extra scrutiny for Middle Easterners at the Mexican border:

U.S. government policy requires that young Middle Eastern men who are caught crossing illegally into the United States from Mexico be treated the same as illegal aliens from elsewhere in the world—meaning that if they don’t have criminal records, don’t appear on government watch lists and are not deemed to be suspicious by the federal law enforcement officers who interview them, they most likely will be released into the U.S. population.
All 19 of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers were young men from Saudi Arabia and Egypt. None of them had criminal records, not all were on watch lists, and few apparently raised significant suspicions among American border or visa authorities.

“The law does not differentiate based on nationality. So enforcement does not differ based on nationality,” says Reed Little, Detention and Enforcement Officer for the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He added that ICE officials must justify their actions before immigration judges.

Asked if a 25-year-old man from Saudi Arabia would be treated at all differently from other illegal aliens coming across the Mexican border, ICE spokesman Manny Van Pelt said, “No...”

We can only hope that this very dangerous creep is caught soon.
The government needs to fund an “America’s Most Wanted” type of program that shows terrorists every week. It would be money well spent.
