What would a majority of conservatives end up doing on November 4, 2008 with a Fred Thompson/Mitt Romney ticket?

IMHO, Mitt wouldn’t bring anything to the ticket. His flip-flops/late-life conversions on core issues still remain as does many people’s queasyness with his religion. And he can’t even bring his home state of Massachusetts with him.

Fred needs to pick a Midwest governor for geographical balance(Pawlenty maybe) OR if he’s running against a Hildabeast/Osamabama ticket maybe pick Michael Steele or J.C. Watts neither of whom have Romney’s baggage and would counterbalance Osamabama.

I like the Steele pick because I think there is no way in hell the beast is gonna pick Hussein Obama. She will go for Richardson to take New Mexico and possibly Colorado and Arizona. I think a guy like Steele would force many of the black voters to consider where they stand with the Dem party.
