Listening to some of these Senators, it’s hard to believe that we actually pay them to sell us out.

They still have to get elected, and may have some residual guilt and patriotism, so it’s smothered is msarmy feel-goodism.

Plus the MSM is giving the bill a complete pass on analysis. For one, Rove has successfully scared them into thinking opposition labels them with the conservative bogeyman term. Also they like the cheap labor, esp. the cheap child care for wealthy people.

That this is a “compromise” bill is very misleading, but calling it such was good propaganda by Rove/Bolten, whomever did this. If it passes they will be well compensated after 2008.

People have criticized the bill’s new enforcement procedures as unnecessary, and a gambit to make it appear there can be enforcement only if you give Bush and the Wage Depression lobbies that purchase men like Kyl as good business practice the things they want.

It’s a false dilemma, and a false crisis, a crisis stoked by Bush’s lack of enforcement for 6 years as part of his cynical plan to broker with the people a deal that will hurt them in the pocket, but benefit his buddies big.

Kyl’s explanation is another lie of course, but at least it means he thinks he has to respond to other lies!

McCain has always been bad on this issue. But he is nowhere near the duplicity, guile, lies and arrogance of Senator Kyl.

Mendez is lying. Illegals have NEVER served in the military. A very small number of green card holders have, but we are trying to deal with the 12 - 20 million illegals who are a lawless group of parasites. They don’t serve. They only take.
