The top commander of a Kurdish rebel group said his forces would resist any Turkish military incursion aimed at destroying rebel bases in northern Iraq, a news agency reported Saturday.

Turkey has been building up its military forces on the Iraqi border in recent weeks, amid debate among political and military leaders about whether to attack rebels of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, who stage raids in southeast Turkey from hideouts in Iraq.

I have only scorn for Turkey after they refused us the use of their country to enter Iraq causing untold American G.I.s death.
And why did this happen? Because at the last moment they demanded a much larger bribe for doing so. A shakedown. Lucre’.
Like the french when we went after Lybia they abandoned us. Well screw turkey and I don’t cotten to the french either.

No that is not the reason Turkey did not allow the US to use its land for the Iraqi invasion. It failed the gain support in the Parliament because the useless whimps that the US helped come to power were unable to handle the process.
