“I don’t want to hear an anchor’s personal opinion about anything. Just report the news.
“But CNN continues to ape many of the on-air mannerisms of the Fox News Network, and I don’t like that,” he said.
Isn’t this the same guy who refused to be debriefed by the Pentagon about Iraqi troop movements after the US military saved his asss from a downtown Bahgdad hotel in the first Gulf War?

CNN - why they never had an agenda or an opinion. Its just eevil Fox News Channel that came along and destroyed that objective and factual agenda-free news reporting. Yeah, right Bernie.

"When anchors are reporting the news, they should report the news and allow the viewers at home to decide what they think about issues. Hmm, "We report, you decide." Good thinking, Bernie!

I don't want to hear an anchor's personal opinion about anything. Just report the news. There's nothing quite like a sanctimonious hypocrite being sanctimonious.

Fox news does have a problem in that real news is intermixed with opinion programs from hour to hour. Countless people think O’Reiley is biased news show rather than an opinion show. Fox News should split into a pure news channel and a talk-show based channel.

"When anchors are reporting the news, they should report the news and allow the viewers at home to decide what they think about issues...." When the MSM and CNN start doing this they might see some increase in viewers. This is precisely why the public isn't watching CNN and the network news as they are telling the people what to think and calling them ignoramuses if they don't think that way.
