Thank you for your consideration. It isn’t my rule, it’s one of the rules I found on the LFRA site. I’m sure they have their reasons for it, but if the law gives you the right to carry one on Statehouse grounds, then I understand how you feel.

I need as many participants at this event as possible!!
I have just learned that one block from the Capitol event site will be the annual Ohio Latino Festival. Last year’s festival was attended by 300,000 people!
But the police have reasurred me that they will, if necessary, take the same measures for us as they do with the KKK and make sure there is some kind of barrier between up. I did consider cancelling, but it’s just too late, others might not get the word, and the police have been very helpful, even offering me a tour today.
Bring your Posters, flags, folding chair if you want one, and a few bottles of water! Practice the ‘buddy’ system! And best place to park that day is the underground garage at the capitol.
If anyone has ideas for a banner and how to display it, please pm me.
Also, if you belong to any groups, please let them know. If you need a flyer, I can send you one!

All: It is with great regret that I am posting to inform you that I have made the difficult decision to cancel the Ohio (only) event at the Statehouse in Columbus.
Yesterday I learned that the statewide, annual Ohio Latino Festival, which is expected to draw more than 300,000 people, is scheduled to be held only a block away from the Statehouse. Though at first determined to move forward with our plans, I have just returned from a personal visit with the Capitol Scheduler’s Office and have had several phone conversations late yesterday and today with Officers who would be responsible for securing our event. After speaking with all of them, all things considered, I felt it to be in everyone’s best interest to make the decision to set the issue aside for now and cancel out of the greater concern for the safety of all participants.
Please take a moment to send this important message out to anyone whom you may have personally invited or notified of the event.

NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SENATE, THIS FIGHT MUST GO FORWARD and I am DETERMINED to let our OHIO Senators know that UNITED WE STAND against them and this Administration as they move forward in their efforts, efforts that will destroy the sovereignty and security of our country!!

2. Bring your flags, signs, dignity and respect for others.
3. Bring facts about illegal immigration and the problem it poses for our country along with sources for those facts. Either you or someone else can speak from the gazebo.
