Many people think it sounds absurd, but at some point in the future serious people will have to think about either reforming Islam forcibly or banning it. If Muslims cannot reform their religion and make the needed changes, the rest of the world will have to do it before things get worse (violent) than they actually are. An eventuality which is closer than many people think.

That's true of the author-but the people commenting on the author's lamentable idiocy re:islam know the score. They're giving him hell.

We here at FR have been saying for years that there's an unofficial loose-knit alliance forming between islam and the left-and even those who should be against islam because of their status as gays or feminist/women are marching in lock-step. I wouldn’t worry about it too much mate. It is a slow news day in Britain and this story does not reflect the number of Muslims in the UK. The vast majority of Muslim men are called Mohammed, or a variation on it, so its not surprising that this name should feature high on the boys names list. It is vastly outnumbered by the other, British, names on the list

According to this site, Mohammed ranked 688th in the US in 2005, the latest year available. But that is just the one spelling.

Actually "Muhammad" was 688th and "Mohammad" was 629th, "Mohammed" is not listed in the top 1000 baby names.

The 953rd most popular boy's name in 2005 was "Baby". Go figure.
