We won't know for 5 or 10 years after we've left, if we truly won it. We can kill thousands every week, but if we leave next year, and the Iranians and Saudis split the country up like they are wanting to do, then we lose (or rather our children and their children lose).

As far as credit, Bush is doing what should have been done a few years ago, so I can't give him much credit. We should have had a couple of more divisions in there from 2003 on. I can give the troops credit - they certainly deserve it.
