... When Coalition Forces entered a building in Baghdad, two > suspected < terrorists ignored an interpreters instructions to comply with Coalition Forces orders. The two men ran into the building and attempted to retrieve weapons visible inside. Coalition Forces, reacting to the hostile threat, engaged the two men, killing them. One other suspected terrorist was detained on the scene and three vehicles used to transport weapons and personnel for the VBIED cell were destroyed.

OOOoops.
Can someone explain to me when this "suspected" BS started and why?
If the story simply stated the facts withut the use of this word is it assumed that the reader would have no way of knowing (or reasoning) that the individuals involved were terrorists?
As a related matter, on of the reasons that I have come to view this war negatively, is the catch and release of people like this bunch. There is no reason for any of them to have been left alive.
