Bush Administration "Black Operations" Directed Against Iran, Lebanon and Syria
The Intelligence Daily ^ | June 5, 2007 | Michel Chossudovsky

The Bush administration has admitted that covert actions of an aggressive nature were applied against Iran and Syria. The stated objective was to wreck the countries economies and currency systems. The infamous Iran-Syria Policy and Operations Group (ISOG) created in early 2006, integrated by officials from the White House, the State Department, the CIA and the Treasury Department, had a mandate to destabilize Syria and Iran, and bring about "Regime Change": "The committee, the Iran-Syria Policy and Operations Group [ISOG], met weekly throughout much of 2006 to coordinate actions such as curtailing Iran's acces to credit and banking institutions, organizing the sale of military equipment to Iran's neighbors and supporting forces that oppose the two regimes." (Boston Globe, 25 May 2007)...

>>Bush Administration “Black Operations” Directed Against Iran, Lebanon and Syria<<

Good.

1. Hopefully they are only aimed at Hezbollah and other similar elements in Lebanon instead of the government.

2. Whoever leaked this in an SOB, at best.

If it exists why is it ‘infamous’? It should be encouraged.

Thanks for that info. That said I hope and expect we are doing things, I just don’t want to read the details in the press unless its about serious government malfeasance. Even then national security is key.

Oh, that’s nice. How much do you think a full page ad in the Iranian Times would cost —No — No — Wait! Maybe we could get one of those biplanes to pull a trailer and fly over Iran, Syria and Lebanon - “WE ARE CONDUCTING COVERT OPERATIONS - TODAY ONLY”. Then we could rent some searchlights to highlight the areas where those operations are being conducted.

After that, we could have an aerial fireworks display, followed with a ground display that spells out “IDIOT”. Big Finish. Really, really big finish with a brass band and all.

I should hope so.

But I also hope they are a bit more competent than they have shown themselves to be in most operations since the Church Committee eviscerated them.
