Wasn’t questioning it as ‘not normal’. I honestly didn’t know.

Just wondering it there was a limit to the madness, I should know better than to ask. It was more of a rhetorical question.

I predict the Palis will throw down their arms and jump into the sea like lemmings at the mere sight of the Fred.

Jack Bauer has taken a long slow breath and is comfortable knowing that at last he will be working for a President that is looking out for the nation rather than himself and is not a flaming asshole, or a self serving coward.

I think the members of FR need to sue all my schools I’ve attended. I’ve learned more at FR than at any of the schools I’ve attended :)

That's because we don't waste time on self-esteem exercises.

Good for him, but Fred will stand up for our 2nd Amendment rights, unlike Mitt... Seems Mitt is the one who could’ve learned something from his trip to Israel. It’s too bad he didn’t.

This is what a serious Republican [c]andidate does.

FYI, Mitt Romney recently went to Israel and so did then Texas Gov. George W. Bush c. 1999. Both of those trips were sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition.

Not sure if the RJC is sponsoring Thompson's trip, but kudos to them if they are.

More liberal elements in Israel fear Thompson may be too far to the right, therefore ending up harming Israel.

Well, nothing can and has harmed Israel more, aside from Islamofascists, than the "more liberal elements" in her midst.

I'd worry about meeting with the leftist likes of Olmert and Livni.

Liberal “elements” in Israel, i.e., Shalom Achshav(Peace Now), the Hadash party (Communists), ODA Arab List,Meretz(far left),Labor,(left of center)and NGO’s such as the ISM(International Solidarity Movement)Pro-Palestinian Rachel Corrie’s group and the Palestinian Authority’s Fatah and Tanzim parties as well as the Al Aksa Martyr's Brigade; parties that are tacit terrorist supporters, are VERY CONCERNED that Fred D. Thompson may be too far to the right.
What a shock THAT is.
These self (in the case of Jews)hating Quislings are the scum of the earth and not worth the sweat off a real Jew’s Baytzim.
I can understand the hate from Arabs/Islamics and the European and Western nation demi-Nazis, but undermining of ones own heritage and history and endangering the lives and limbs of ones fellows is totally despicable and beneath contempt.

Duncan Hunter is also extremely supportive, and I'd like to see him as President - but Thompson's 98% as good and has a much better chance to win.

I'd put it more like 75%, but Fred is still pretty good.

Hunter has been very impressive though.
