Hillary won’t attack Obama and sully her reputation with blacks. She doesn’t have to, because the press will do it for her, anytime she says, and blame it on the racist vast right wing conspirators to boot.

There’s not a chance that Obama will win. If hillary thinks it would help her, she will offer him the VP slot. If not, then he’s toast, one way or another.

If necessary, she’ll get Daley to have a DA indict him on corruption charges.

LOL and for sure! Where there's a will; (and there is, of course. . .); there's a way.

It’s coming. Hillobama ‘08.

Kind of like the Mondale/Ferraro ticket in 84. And against FDT, it will go about as well.....:)

My friend, they ARE a disaster...both of them.

My dream ticket for the democrats would be Hillary for POTUS and Obama for VPOTUS. Either one of them alone should be very easily beatable by just about any of the current republican candidates. But, if the republican candidate holds back in the attacks on their records (Hiillary's or Obama), then I wouldn't give the republican too much of a chance.

If she picks Barack for her veep, SHE's the one that would have to fear assassination.

She won't select him, it more than likely will be the very safe Richardson or someone else who isn't, like Obama, a left-wing apparatchik disguised as a left-wing con man disguised as a left-wing middle-of-the-roader.

I wouldn’t be suprised to see Obama assassinated next year .... yes she is THAT ruthless.

Nope. She'll persuade him to have her run as his VP.

Two years and one day into his first term he's a dead man, she gets the remaining two years less one day, and has plenty of time to "fix" our broken elections process.

Then under the 22nd Amendment she can still be elected to two full terms.

We will know this time as The Glorious Hillary!™ Decade.

(Of course at the end of The Glorious Hillary!™ Decade, there will be a "national emergency" that will "temporarily" suspend the elections).

You vastly underestimate just how ruthless she is, my FRiend...

Richardson shares a lot with Clinton, and not just his first name, either. Nothing “safe” about him.

A 4-way race with Gore, McCain and the dem/pub nominees would actually be extremely interesting to watch.

Extremely interesting to watch, yes but the result is too predictable: The House of Representatives would appoint the Democrat candidate. The vote would be so spread out that I don't see any of the candidates getting 270 electoral votes.

The watchword of the Clinton campaign has been "inevitability."

Might as well get used to it. Somewhere further down the topic someone talks about a Hillary-Obama ticket. I'm not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet (and I haven't even been pinching figs and herding sheep) but I do believe you can go ahead and put that one in the bank (where it will, of course, be taxed unmercifully)...

He's not safe to us, of course.

I meant that he's safe to her because no one will bump her off to make him the first part-latino president.

Don't be so sure.

Remember, when the House elects the President there are only 50 votes cast - one for each state.

California casts one vote for the Democrat. Wyoming casts one vote for the Republican.

For over two years I’ve said Hillary Clinton wouldn’t be in the primaries because of her woefully inadequate political skills, if you can call them that. I’ve noted the historical record high ‘negative numbers’ and that each time she gives a substantive speech, those negative numbers move ever higher. I’ve also noted she simply isn’t a dynamic speaker, not even close. She has dry monotone that puts you to sleep and SCREECH MODE. Thats it. I suspect by the end of the year she withdraws for some vague ‘personal reason’, realizing its better to withdraw having not lost ala Kerry or Gore, and play ‘kingmaker’.

I sure hope you're right! Hillary as President would be the WORST disaster imaginable.

“The Democrats will vote for the candidate that the media supports. The media controls the vertical and the horizontal.”

Unfortunately, as we know already, the media will only support a liberal.

As far-fetched as that may sound to many folks here on FR,
You may very well be RIGHT.. surely about the landslide part.
