You would be surprised at how disinterested most kids are in ANY political issue.
In the ghetto,the last thing students would be concerned about is”global warming”.Its all about getting paid,the fine light skinned girl with the big derriere and Friday’s football game.
Personally,I would LOVE to meet some kids with ANY political views,liberal or otherwise.A tleast they would show interest in something beyond themselves.
Just spent a weekend with my sister and nephew in suburban Philly. He just graduated HS, is in the Young Marines (Joining ROTC) and has a library of Poli/Sci. and history books that is very impressive. The private school may have had something to do with this, but either way I am so damn impressed that at least one kid isn’t a liberal or politically apathetic.
