Article VI, Section 3 of the Constitution: "The Senators and Representatives before mentioned...shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."

What part of that does WND not understand?

If this is so, why are Teddy Kennedy and Nancy Pelosi and so many more still in office? I am sure they failed the Test miserably.

I wasn’t going to say anything, because the overall tone of this thread is pretty clear, but I was wondering the same thing... Don’t congressmen often speak in front of organizations and religious groups? I’ll admit to knowing nothing about this organization, so perhaps I’m speaking out of ignorance, but it doesn’t seem unreasonable for a muslim politician to talk to other muslims.
