China Goes on the Offensive, Singles Out US Products That Don't 'Meet Sanitary Standards'

BEIJING (AP) -- Certain health supplements and raisins imported from the United States failed to meet Chinese safety standards and have been returned or destroyed, the country's food safety agency said Friday, turning the tables on the U.S. amid growing worries over dangerous Chinese products.

Read the labels for country of origin - and BOL for the tiny(hard to see) black or blue ink lettering that may be stamped on some obscure and unexpected place on the container (like just beneath the rim of the opening on apple juice). And - don’t rely on “brand names”; I’m amazed at the long-established, “All American” brands that are using China as their product source.

I will no longer put anything in my mouth from China. Instead of feeling shame for what they did, these communists have the gall to be pissed! Reminds me of Putin!

Biggest problem I see is all those products labeled as Vitamin C enriched is getting that ingrediant from China. Unless its straight from the orchard orange juice in Florida.

I do not buy chicom goods. It is not easy, but I try not to buy anything that they touch. They are our enemy as surely as the sun rises in the east.

I see a booming market opportunity of advertising that each item is 100% USA made, not Distributed in USA, which is just saying the item was MADE OUTSIDE USA but every ingrediant is from the land of the free and not a country that forces families into a one child per or condones killing female babies, has no regard for the individual and is of course Communist.

Eat Red and be Dead I am saying.

On a recent visit to China, a friend spotted this ad in a Beijing newspaper. He sent me the photo with a translation of the ad copy.

BECOME AN ENTREPRENEUR AND JOIN CHINA’S NEW MONIED ELITE!

Yes, you can now join the millions of happy and prosperous Chinese citizens taking advantage of the growing numbers of American and Western multinational corporations “outsourcing” their production to the hard-working and industrious people of China. This outsourcing has now spread to their food supplies and ingestible items. Since these firms pay us for gross weight – and this new weight will be pretty gross – and the stupid American government only spot-checks imported items in these categories (they just got lucky on the anti-freeze thing), it has opened an entirely new opportunity which our beloved Chairman is offering to any Chinese citizen willing to do a little of what the foolish Americans call “grunt work.”

Installing one of these state-of-the-art food additive production facilities behind YOUR hovel is as simple as clipping the coupon below and sending it to the address shown. Your production plant will be shipped to you in 4 to 6 weeks. Supplies are limited so don’t fart around. ACT NOW!! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

These silly Americans have an expression we have “borrowed” and modified to describe this new and exciting venture: “Don’t give me any s**t.”

Our motto will be “We won’t GIVE you any s**t. But we’ll SELL it to you fools at a really great price.”

AND LOOK FOR A NEW DROP-DEAD MONEY-MAKER COMING SOON. SOYLENT YELLOW PROMISES TO BE BIG!!

“Certain health supplements and raisins imported from the United States failed to meet Chinese safety standards”

The US products were found to completely free from poisons and toxins.
This violates Chinese health standards. All food products sold in China must contain at least a minimal amount of poison or toxin.

All we need to do is implement a tariff on Chinese goods. Because the founding fathers put the economic reins in the hands of the people we can even decide what percentage and change it whenever it suits us. Its time that conservatives recognize the failed promise of globalism and return to the deliberate use of tariffs.

Well geez, the whole reason for out sourcing is to bypass these inconvenient and expensive health and safety regulations.

China remains the most powerful communist-ruled totalitarian slave state in the world. The Communists in China killed over 60 million of their own citizens to get and maintain power. The Chicoms have invaded neighboring countries such as Tibet and has been the chief supporter of communism in Southeast Asia.

Communist China has built up the most powerful army, air force and navy in the world next to the U.S. Its forces are equipped with nuclear missiles targeted at the U.S. Its history of denial of human rights is among the most egregious in the world today.

Red China represents the greatest danger to America and has threatened to “take out” Los Angeles if the U.S. interferes in its relations with Taiwan.

The average American paid no attention while Red China leased strategic bases in the Americas. For example, Red China controls both ends of the Panama Canal and has leased large portions of Long Beach California for the operation of its container-ship business.

Yet — successive American administrations have given Red China Most Favored Nation trading status. America is now the major retail outlet for Red China and is responsible for Communist China’s economic boom in recent years.

Red China has virtually replaced American manufacturers. The U.S. imports from Red China not only consumer and electronic goods but also foodstuffs, tools, light and heavy machinery, industrial equipment, computers, hi-tech goods, textiles and even bulk commodities such as timber, building blocks, glass, sand and brick. We found recently that even the raw material that goes into making pet food comes from Red China.

Go into any Wal-Mart, pick up the first item you see, turn it over. On the bottom of the article will be a small sticker “Made in China.”

Somewhere Mao is smiling.
