Afraid you are right ... I can’t understand how Pres Bush and the WH are so absolutely out of touch with American citizens. The bright side of this is that perhaps he will let it go, as he did the Social Security program he advocated when his approval ratings were considerably higher and he had some political capital to work with.

Bush has always been an open borders guy. Many, on the Right, seem to have developed amnesia relative to this issue.

Martinez is head of the RNC.
GWBush wants Amnesty at all costs.

There is no contact with the real world.
