Quite simply, why as an American manufacturer can’t I have the same access to foreign markets as they have to ours?

Because of our tax system - the income tax. It adds to price at each stage of production. A successful sale includes amounts sufficient to pay the costs of the seller - all costs - including tax costs.

WTO will not allow us to punish imports (tariffs).

But they will allow us to change tax systems.

The results of this bill are achieved by changing to a national retail sales tax such as HR 25 in Congress right now.

Do a thomas.loc.gov on HR 25. If you want, take a look at the faq at fiartax.org.
