Hamas leader calls for state alongside Israel

Mashaal deputy Abu Marzouk says in interview to Hamas-linked paper that state in Gaza, West Bank and Jerusalem would be great achievement for Palestinians

Associated Press Published: 06.09.07, 17:36 / Israel News

The Palestinians are united in seeking a state in the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem, a senior Hamas leader said in an unusually enthusiastic endorsement of an idea the Islamic movement long opposed.

Moussa Abu Marzouk, a deputy to Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal, made the comment in an interview published Saturday in the Hamas-linked newspaper "Palestine."

Hamas was founded on a pledge to seek Israel's destruction, but some in the movement have softened their stance as part of coalition talks with the Fatah movement of moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Hamas-Fatah government's platform calls for the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem, the lands Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast War.

In the coalition talks, Hamas had presented its acquiescence to the idea as a major concession. However, in his interview, Abu Marzouk presented a state alongside Israel as an achievement for the Palestinians.

"Now there is one team, one program, one united government ... So there is a big chance to reach the goal we agreed upon at this stage, which is a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem," he said.

Yeah: That coalition will last until one of the crazies decides to start kiling again.

A Palestinian State. Yeah: and it will be predicated upon other States sending them enough welfare to keep it going.

The Palestinians had a good opportunity when Israel turned Gaza over to them. They already had a ready made source of work and income. What did they do with it?

Anything the Palestinians cant eat or rape they destroy.,

Whenever these “Palestinians” are given more land, they simply use that land to launch other attacks against Israel.

Westerners who support a Hamas run state are foolish.

Jordan took in many of the palestinian refugee trash awhile back and the retards tried to stage a coup and over throw the Jordanian gov.

And, iirc, the Syrians tend to treat their palestinian refugee trash worse than they treat Jews and Christians.

Of course, egypt could take them in since many of them were egyptian prior to the redesignation as palestinian, but egyptians hate and despise them as much as all the other arab nations do.

The “brotherly arabic love” for the palies only goes so far as to serve anti-Israeli propaganda and after that it’s all about the palies being nothing but worthless gutter trash, hated and despised throughout the entire arab/muslim world.

The foolish pub President Bush and Hamas are in agreement as Bush has become the worst of Presidents and determined to leave a legacy of destruction not only for Israel but also for America.
Conservatives need to form a conservative party, the Pubs as liberal moderates and worthless fools.
