It seems to be somewhat of a morbid fixation to first think of abortion when the topic is prenatal health. It’s somewhat slanderous to the researchers as well to imply that people who have devoted their lives to people’s health just can’t wait to start hacking into some fetuses. The study they conducted involved live babies whose mothers were immunized in the third trimester. Logically it follows that they’ll just repeat the same study with mothers that were immunized in the first and second trimester.
it would be good to look at fetuses in earlier trimesters to get a better idea of when, exactly, these advanced immune system responses begin to kick in.
