Hes very careful about how he speaks. Note its always “end, withdraw, pullout.” Never one word about “Win, success, victory”, etc. Dean and the rest of the Dims are desperate for Iraq to be the defeat Vietnam was to the U.S. all over again. The problem is they either ignore the long term consequences or just dont care. When 2008 campaigning shifts into high gear, GOP hopefuls need to expliot this to the full. As far as I am concerned, they should be doing it now.

The plan is to win the election with the number one topic iraq and foreign police. They do not need to offer a plan when the iraq war is still such a disaster as it was during the last years. They just have to collect the votes of the people who are unsatisfied with the war in Iraq and we all know the numbers. This strategy worked last november where the democrats had no plan to offer but a simple massage we will end this war. It will be hard for the republican candidate to win against this simple massage when things do not change in iraq.
