Too bad I did not agree how he went about it, but I hate politics when it interfers with a good General he earn his right to speak his mind!
Its not just that remark; Pace also submitted a letter of reference to Judge Walton standing up for Libby. Pace is a good man, a very good man, and the MC will miss him as an active leader. But he deserves to retire without having to go through an outrageous hearing that is only based on politics and not military strategy/thinking. The democrats would have slandered him, and he would have had to sit there and take it since General’s don’t play politics. He does not deserve that.
