Thank you President Bush. Your words do more in a second, than I can possibly do in weeks, to rally opposition.

I respectfully submit that President Bush would have been hung for treason 150 years ago for this.
Ducking now.

I genuinely regret voting for this man twice.
And walking the streets for him.
Flame away- I won't respond, but will put you in the "enemies" column, forever.
At least with a Dem, you know you've got a Son of a Bitch...

I didn’t think we’d ever see it, but we’ve got a Republican Carter.

It MIGHT be Patriots have to align with a few moderate Democrats to kill this thing. If those can be convinced that by obstructing this they’re helping put President Bush firmly into a lame duck position, they may be willing to help resolve and kill this once and for all.
Because of Bush’s blatant contempt for and belligerance toward the Conservative base, it’s come down to a choice of support for him or support for what we feel is best for America. I’ll choose the latter.

I hope that the President is talking about a simple, single-purpose immigration Bill to secure our borders with adequate follow-up funding to stop the leak. That is what this country needs. That is what the people want. Then, after we have demonstrated the will to secure our borders, we can then and only then take the time needed to rework our immigration policy, including how best to deal with illegals in a just and compassionate manner, including nationalization of the English language. We can save billions in costs of dealing with multiple languages that would more than pay for our border security.

My feelings about this treasonous fraud of an immigration reform bill are
posted here. Throw all of the bums out! Prosecute all of them for treason. Every last one of them. 'Nuff said.

Bush is really nipping at Jimmah Carter’s heals to be known as “the worst President” in recent memory.

The games is afoot and it is for keeps what with the end of the Bush Administration and the "go for broke" libs jumping out of the "RINO" closets.
Take nothing for granted, ESPECIALLY statements like "we will not try to pass immigration reform this year" bs. If we hear that one look out for the distraction because about two weeks later they will announce "We are nearing completion of a bill" and they will be "very optimistic."
Well, that didn't take long.
Ok, now we see...
En route aboard Air Force One, Bush called three senators to discuss how the bill could be revived, the White House said. They were Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colo.; Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.; and Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass.
Well, at least now we know what the knife in our back is all about.
Golly! thanks so much George. I hope someday that whomever has the tapes or photos will realise that even Presidents are not all powerful and drops them off at the Washington Times...
"I'll see you at the bill signing."
Bastard.

"I believe we can get it done," Bush said at a news conference on the final day of his eight-day trip in Europe. "I'll see you at the bill signing."Jimmah can finally rest easy now. George, you have taken his place. Idiot.
