I frequent the Denny's that cost them a bazillion dollars in a discrimination suit years ago.

I remember the lawsuit.

I also remember visiting a Denny's where the staff and patrons were almost all black. After over half an hour of sitting at the counter trying to get a waiter or waitress to notice me, I realized that they were not going to serve me, so I walked out. I don't know if their problem was racism or incompetence or both. My guess is, both.

How do I know he's good? The restaurant is spotless, the staff is happy, the business is booming, and everyone who walks in the front door feels welcome...

I can say the same thing about the non-chain restaurant that now operates in the old local Denny's building. What a difference competent management makes!

I once tried to remember every Denny's I had ever visited. I stopped at number 50, it was starting to get embarrassing.
