Vegetarian? I have thought of becoming one. I love veg and everything. I just do not know how to make a meal out of them. Tips?
Try this link there looks some good ones here. I am not a vegetarian but I do like some vegetarian dishes including side dishes

I went veg cold turkey, then gained weight trying to feel full like all that protein does. Things levelled out and now my weight is about what it was in high school (and I’m in my 60’s). Just google vegetarian recipes and you’ll have your hands full. I probably eat/drink too much dairy (according to many) but cheese, yogurt, kefir, cottage cheese etc. are staples for me. Throw in salads, nuts and pancakes and I’m set. (Can’t say I like cooked vegetables; would rather eat them raw.)
I am not a vegetarian, but in my experience, the enjoyable vegetarian dishes are the ones are the ones that are vegetarian from the ground up. If you take a recipe that was originally carnivore and swap in a meat substitute, it’s a pale imitation. Veggieburgers, tofurkey, soy bacon, no thanks.
When I was in college, I knew a lot of recent vegetarians who were pasty and wan — because they stopped eating meat and made no other changes. They would go to Burger King and get fries and a Coke. Going veg isn’t a simple matter of cutting out meat — you need another source of protein. Beans are an excellent choice.
I hate to recommend PETA for anything, but in the narrow area of culinary advice, they have some recipes. There are also a lot of vegetarian Indian recipes that are delicious.
