Steve King gets it.
Its time for the congress to get in tune. I’m sick of members not hearing the people. For decades its been an insult that we send them to congress and they represented big business. I hope the rubber is meeting the proverbial road now.
round 1 is over, but those who rightly oppose the bill shouldn’t be sitting on their hands right now. Doing so still leaves those wanting amnesty the upperhand if there’s no alternative presented. Senators and House members opposed to it should be huddling together and coming up with their own bill. Call a news conference present it to the people, point out where their bill fixes the glaring holes in the other one, and then get the phones and faxes rolling in in support of it. Let’s stuff one down their throats for a change.
Just say NO to Amnesty!! Keep calling!! Its NOT OVER!!

Even before the first cloture vote I read somewhere King saying the bill was dead and that it was going down. He must have had the inside scoop. By the sound of it now he doesn’t appear too concerned that it’s coming back and I hope he’s right again.
