Atomic agency cancels meeting with balky Iran_(on and on...)

VIENNA: A meeting between a senior Iranian envoy and the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency was abruptly canceled Monday, with diplomats blaming Iran's refusal to make good on a promise to provide answers about past nuclear activities.

The meeting, between Javad Vaeedi of Iran and Mohamed ElBaradei, the director general of the IAEA, had been advertised as a test of Iran's readiness to end years of stonewalling and provide answers on aspects of its nuclear program that could be used to develop weapons.

Iran and N. Korea are great friends now. I suppose they are studying N. Korea’s stalling tactics. They seem to be learning them well.

Send in Condi Rice, she’s already said there is no ‘plan’ to attack Iran, I’m sure Ahmadinejad and his mullah-buddies would be happy to receive her as an honored guest from the Great Satan.
