There’s no question that some compromises shouldn’t be made, but it doesn’t mean that none should either.

Providing de facto permanent residence to illegal aliens who are uneducated, unskilled, do not speak English, and are literally peasants in their own country - while even highly qualified law-abiding applicants wait patiently for years in their home countries - is immoral and unethical.

Is that your "compromise"?

President Bush promised a temporary program in writing and in his Jan 2004 speech, and has touted a "temporary" program until very recently.

Obviously he was lying to his consituents and the American public.

Is that the "compromise" he's made?

Mara Liasson had a nice little slip of the tongue last night.
It went something along the lines of...blah, blah, blah...the concession compromise bill.
