How about starting by doing what they said they would do in 1986? Control the border, enforce the law. Why is that easier after granting amnesty?

And yes it is amnesty. There are no required $9000 fines to get the Z visa, only to get citizenship. They are immediately legal.

Besides, you and I will be paying that $9000 for them via tax breaks - getting "refunds" in excess of taxes paid - and more social programs.

It's really quite ironic when you think about it.
