Now I’d like to add my “pork” - babies born to illegal immigrants are no longer guaranteed citizenship. Exactly.
Where in the prior history of Western Civilization has that ever been law, that you happen to drop a baby in another country, then that baby's a full citizen -- even if you're here illegally? That's just nutty.

This came over our wire service. I pulled a copy and posted on FR. However, there is a name and website at the end of the post.

Interesting, if this is for real.

What this describes actually *is* amnesty — i.e., a withholding of punishment for offenses committed. The Kennedy immigration bill, OTOH, goes far beyond mere amnesty to reward criminals for their law-breaking.

I like Rush’s idea of calling the original effort the Pardon Bill.

After the amnesty then we fry the companies that hire these illegals.

I like this provision, but not knowing what is in the rest of the bill, Ill reserve judgement until everything is known about it. You were reading my mind.

I haven’t seen this before either, and it sounds too good to be true. Even if true, I don’t trust anyone to enforce it.

You still have to control the border first.

Lets see, 12 million out of the country in 120 days. That's 10,000 a day.
They'll need all those flooded buses in New orleans to make it happen.

We should change the language like the Open border types. “Deportation” should be replaced by “Repatriation.”

Who is going to enforce ANY immigration bill? We have immigration laws now that are barely worth the paper they are printed on. What teeth does any new law have? Just more money to hand out and the flow of illegals won’t stop. If aynthing it will increase. It’s all crap.

"think tanks" such as the Heritage Foundation have estimated the actual cost to the economy will be 2 to 4 trillion higher if the estimated 12 million illegal aliens are allowed to stay or given a special path to US citizenship.Everyone wants to babble about the $$, but the real issue is the destruction of the two party system that would result. It would be a de facto coup by the 'rats to add 20M to the voter rolls. The country would be subverted forever.

I don’t know. My employer subscribes to a wire service and this came over the wire. I pulled off a copy and posted on FR.
