Sounds nice, but until we see enforcement of curent laws stepped up, we’ll have no reason to have any confidence that future legislation would be enforced.
I don’t know if the system highlights or when I posted I’m suppose to add something to make it highlighted.
I think this type of Amnesty bill was used in Malaysia - all illegals had 30 days to leave the country OR THE ILLEGALS WOULD BE CAUGHT, CANED, AND THE POLICE WOULD CONFISCATE ALL OF THEIR PROPERTY. The ships where jammed full on the 29th day with illegals leaving Malaysia - the Amnesty bill was a success. What the U.S. needs is to replace our judges with Malaysian and Singapore judges - for swift and sure justice.
The system highlights if it is a viable link. For some reason the first time I brought it up it was black. Prolly just a glitch.
Thanks!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That's not pork!
That's an essential part of the permanent solution!
The real problem is that no matter what bill they come up with, if it is not funded and/or enforced, it matters not.
Plenty of “laws” on the books for paying illegals under the table for example.
“Now Id like to add my pork - babies born to illegal immigrants are no longer guaranteed citizenship.”
I dont disagree, however, I believe for that to happen, there would need to be an amendment to the Constitution. We both know that will never happen.
We need solid enforcement that takes advantage of ALL possible resources.
Ping for later
“Faced with the real prospects of losing any opportunity to ever come back to the US”
Oh how stupid. And who’s going to stop them.
Perhaps not.
There are several discussions that suggest that the Legislature has the power to "clarify" that law, but they have chosen not to.
And the Supreme Court in one case actually said so.
I suspect that the only ‘new’ bill we’re going to see is a new NO AMNESTY amendment....and all it will be is an amendment to the current one that changes the timing of the ‘touch back’. Legislators will pat themselves on the back for coming up with this Grand Scheme and tell us if they are forced to go home first for a day or two, then it isn’t amnesty.
ping for follow-up...
Yes, I eventually saw your reply after I posted mine yo your first question.
If such an amnesty approach were linked to the building of the double strand fence, the number of illegal invaders in the US would drop precipitously very quickly, leaving the hard core to be rounded up. Isn’t that part of ‘Homeland Security’? As someone posted, it makes too much sense to be something legislators would come up with for our consideration.
Yep, it actually depends on what your interpretation of "...and subject to the jurisdiction thereof..." in the 14th Amendment means
A few suggestions to the liars who write laws:
1. no more immigration from countries that openly support the middle eastern death cult
2. no citizenship to babies born here to non-citizens.
Making sense, this part but what about the other parts?
