Mr G loved watching Mr Wizard when he was a child. His nickname in high school was Mr Wizard because he was a geek. RIP Mr Wizard.
Indeed. He inspired all who watched him take the mystery out of the world of science. I was one of those.

If you’re 38, you just fall in the gap — too old for the Nickelodeon show, but too young for the 50’s show. I was a regular watcher of “Mr. Wizard’s World” in my youth, along with “The Tomorrow People” and “You Can’t Do That On Television.”
