BEIRUT, Lebanon - An explosion, apparently from a bomb-rigged car, rocked Beirut's seafront Wednesday, killing at least eight people, security officials said.
The bomb targeted and killed anti-Syrian lawmaker Walid Eido, according to Future TV, which is close to Lebanon's anti-Syrian bloc.
Others among the dead reportedly were Eido's son and two bodyguards.
