I am making 12 Commitments to the American People. They are intended to lift our vision from the rearview mirror to the road ahead. If I am elected president, I want to be held accountable for the progress we make as a nation.
1) I will keep America on offense in the Terrorists’ War on Us.
2) I will end illegal immigration, secure our borders and identify every non-citizen in our nation.
3) I will restore fiscal discipline and cut wasteful Washington spending.
4) I will cut taxes and reform the tax code.
5) I will impose accountability on Washington.
6) I will lead America towards energy independence.
7) I will give Americans more control over their health care with affordable and portable free-market solutions.
8) I will increase adoptions, decrease abortions, and protect the quality of life for our children.
9) I will reform the legal system and appoint strict constructionist judges.
10) I will ensure that every community in America is prepared for terrorist attacks and natural disasters.
11) I will provide access to a quality education to every child in America by giving real school choice to parents.
12) I will expand America's involvement in the global economy and strengthen our reputation around the world.

I suspect he purposely left them out. Unless he includes these items he’s blowing more smoke than a dollar cigar.
My message for Rudy is the same as the one to my fiance who tries to get me to go into Bed Bath and Beyond with her...
Good luck with that.
Rudy is an amnesty and sanctuary kind of guy. Of course he left that out on purpose.
Once again, he can’t win in the primaries so it’s a dead issue
All kidding aside, this is a brilliant, absolutely brilliant, strategy by Rudy. The Dummies can hardly sign on to much (if any) of this listing, and it compels the other Reps seeking the nomination to lay out their agendas with similar listings. This updating of the Contract for America is brilliant.
My friend, you will spend more time in Bed Bath and Beyond, and like shops, than you can concieve of as a married man. Sorry to tell you. It's one of the prices we pay . . .
Guilianni's pitch read pretty well to me; he's committing to some pretty conservative positions there.
Is it also brilliant to post this on FR daily, many days in multiple threads in hopes that someone might actually believe he is telling the truth that has not already learned this is not the case?
Sounds good to me. Nothing wrong with this.
Greg, thanks. As to your point, I’m now attempting to slit my wrist with a post-it note.
As to the second point on Rudy... does he seem to be committing to some pretty conservative ideas? Sure. Will he stick to them? Not sure on that one.
Maybe I’m just getting disillusioned with all of the politicians out their now. I keep going back to the opening chapters of “Term Limits” by Vince Flynn... not the killing part, but the points made. Worth some thought.
IMO, Rudy tells you what you want to hear depending on the audience.
I haven’t been keeping up, and, honestly, this is the first time I’ve seen this listing. Again, anyone can carp and call Rudy too liberal. But when he says he WILL shut the border using existing law, does anyone reading this believe he will not (or die trying)? Given his pre-9/11 record in NYC, when Rudy says he will accomplish a law-enforcement mission, you would be risking your house by betting against him in Vegas or AC.
My friend, you will spend more time in Bed Bath and Beyond, and like shops, than you can concieve of as a married man.
&&&
Not if he’s like my husband. He refuses to go into such places with me. And I prefer it that way, as it avoids clashes in which his hunter mode disrupts my gatherer mode.
Oh yeah, a chicken in every pot.
The USA needs to come up with a new political party. Called the “Clean House” party. All candidates of this party would commit to running no more than 2 terms.
My fiance wants me to go in there with her. Red, can you maybe start a movement amongst those women who want their man to go into those places? Just let them all know one thing: We. Don’t. Want. To. Go. Period.
Not to repeat myself but...
Good luck with that.
I’m dreaming, I know, I know...
I think the word Erection stands out a little too much.
