This thread is dedicated to the memory of 68-69 Tonkin Gulf Yatch Club...
Rest in peace Brian.
Thank you for your service, and your friendship.
I’ve always thought oysters were overrated. Especially when crab, shrimp and lobster are right there. Put enough tobasco on them and they go good with beer. One recipe I’ve tried that I liked was from an old Justin Wilson cookbook. Oysters in a pig blanket. Wrap a shucked oyster in bacon and grill it.
A rain free race today? Wow.
hmmm. this is interesting —> http://www.metnews.com/articles/2004/reminiscing060304.htm
heh...
“The British serve a dish they call devils on horsebackwhich has not caught on here (understandably). Its the same as an angel except that a prune, sometimes stuffed, is substituted for the oyster.”
Oh, those British have some sense of humour. Yeeee.
Today
Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. Northeast winds around 5 mph.

I’ll be away for much of the race. Going to kids house for fathers day dinner. BBQ shrimp, pork chops, venison and deep pit elk. Lots of people, lots of food. Oh, and did I mention beer?
deep pit elk? Yah... record the race.
Happy Father’s Day.
HaPPy Father’s Day To All!
Sounds like a tasty menu with venison and elk.
Ok,, we’ll see if we can get this puppy in Extended.
I put the wrong time in the page. The thread title has the right time.
Thanks Nork. I pinged the gang because Nascar Live is on TNT now, followed by Countdown to Green on its heels. Got beer?

It do appear as though abc is going to "inform" the public about "the changing face of NASCAR" as a run up to the 2008 election. Expect Hillary, Pelosi, Reid and Red Ted Kennedy to show up in the broadcast booth between now and the 2008 election to be interviewed about how they've always been lifelong NASCAR fans. In fact, I'll bet we're going to learn how Hillery is a modification of Bobby Hillen who she was named after.
Go Dale Jr!
Thanks, and the answer is
No.. But I’m working on it. ;-)
My son and daughter are great. They know my birthday is on fathers day so they each get me two presents. Last night they took me out to the track/casino in WVA. Had a great time.

Expect the ‘changing face of Nascar’ to get a good solid slap upside its head as a result. just a hunch. ;-)
I don’t think the fans are going to get too PC anytime real soon. Count the flying beer cans when they try to have a diversity celebration in lieu of the anthem and flyover. LOL.
I've got to print it out and give it to the other Nascar nut in the house.
Kyle who?
btw, 200
