Case in point: David Parker from Lexington, MA. He wasn’t even trying to tell the school what to teach. All he wanted was to be notified so that he could opt his kid out of being “desensitized”

This, I believe, is the most serious element of this issue. Rather than waste conservative efforts over gay marriage, I'd rather see our energy be spent here---to ensure parents have ultimate control over their children's education.

There have also been instances in which DSS workers violated adoption norms in order to cater to gays and lesbians who wanted to “normalize” their lifestyle by adopting children.....even to the point of removing an abandoned baby from its legal domicile in Springfield, MA where a heterosexual couple stood ready to adopt her and handing her over to a lesbian couple in Northampton.

How can we say that this child is going to develop normally in terms of her sexuality?

Saying that homosexuals are “born that way” is to assume something that isn’t necessarily true. No one can say with any reasonable certainty whether homosexuality is a “congenital” or “developmental/learned” sexual proclivity.

Until we can, I think that we should err on the side of its being “developmental/learned” and protect all of our children accordingly.
