Yesterday I received correspondence from the RNC, asking me to participate in the 2007 Census of the Republican Party. It includes a survey form and a solicitation for a donation.

Please pass along this to anyone who will listen —

Not until the ‘Republicans’ in office, particularly those in the EXECUTIVE branch, (1) actually enforce our EXISTING immigration laws, (2) grow a spine and stand up [on a principled basis] to the Democrats, and (3) act like you are in this for US, not power and privilege/votes — will you see another DIME from me. I used to give each year to the allowable maximum. Not anymore.

Additionally the RNC had the amazing audacity to send me a solicitation letter asking if I had left the Republican Party. Until you recognize that **I** have not left my principles and values, but rather the RNC has become the Accommodating National Party, I will not donate to the RNC.

The President is right on national defense. He is right on taxes and most fiscal issues. He is completely wrong in his policies on working with the ‘kennedy’s’ of the Congress. His policies are dead wrong on ILLEGAL immigration.

Are the borders secure yet?

Oh yeah,

Mr. Thompson, while you’re at it, tell your boss that we’re all pretty pissed about his plan to dump thousands of iraqis into our communities as well.

Thanks,

I echo what Blueflag has stated. Not another dime until the existing laws are enforced.

What is the fiscal impact on local taxpayers the extended families of the current illegals which would be coming be? Have you folks in DC calculated the need for new schools, new jails, new prisons (6-7% of any population goes to prison), or the impact on our hospitals? We are being taxed to death for these things now, and the tax burden would increase dramatically if all these extended families were to come in...not to mention the impact on medicaid, food stamps and welfare rolls.

What are you going to do about the fraudent document situation? Have you eliminated the illegal convicted felons from the bill?

As a 2 times crime victim I want to know the answer.

BTW we see this amnesty as a REWARD for breaking our laws.

Mr. Thompson:

A huge water pipe has burst in the White House. The plumbers should:

a. Get out the mops, buckets, and wet vacs

b. Turn the damned water off

Get it?

I’m not wealthy, but I was a fairly large grass roots contributer to the RNC and maxed out on the the Bush campaign and a number of congressional and senatorial candidates. I have stopped writing checks and wonder how many others have done the same.
