I can’t rememberher name at the moment, but it was a well known female black activist who lives in Durham. She still supports Nifong, believes the “victim’s” story and thinks the Duke boys should be in jail.
Why they should be in jail ... standing outside Nifong’s cell flipping him the bird!

It says something about the black voters in Raleign too. The whole episode shows that blacks will vote for anyone who favors blacks, even at the expense of whites. Is that the definition of a racists?

Unfortunately their heads are so far stuck up there they don’t realize the very criminals they are giving amnesty to will NEVER vote Republican...(unless the GOP starts handing out even more bennies for the “underclass”)
Well, just imagine if Mike Nifong was a republican. Every newscast would breathlessly announce that the REPUBLICAN Mike Nifong......etc, etc.
What’s particularly sick about this episode is the fact that democrat Mike Nifong did this JUST to appease voters to win an election. Reading stories published immediately after the election only verify this. He received votes because he indicted those lacrosse players.
I doubt if the MSM will bother to mention this. Doesn’t fit their template.

I’m glad to see his absolute refusal to follow the laws of discovery are being exposed, however why he did it is just as important.
This trial has made Nifong admit more then I venture he ever anticipated. Now we will have to wait and see what else is exposed and if this is a kangaroo court or one with integrity.
This judge is asking some good questions. He seems surprised at some of the responses by nifong.
Care to share any examples for the cubicle-bound?
Nifong can’t answer the question of why he did not interview her, but had someone else interview her.
He talks around answering, but doesn’t say why he didn’t.

You mean Nifong proceeded on this farce without EVER having interviewed the victim? I hope he has a second skill to fall back on when he is disbarred.
The judge seemed very surprised that they only relied on notes for a case that had such a high profile.
And he could care less, even on the stand he calmly claims “mistakes”, but obviously he believed that they must have done something because she was black and they were rich white guys.
Even now his tone and attitude is that they are rich and white so they were not damaged by these so-called mistakes, and that she was just a poor misguided black girl.
