Bush urges Hispanics to push immigration bill

Recent polling data suggests that greater than 70% of Americans are against this bill. Do you really believe that 70% of Americans are racist against Mexicans? If so, you are blinded by some personal prejudice or resentment of your own, and I would honestly urge you to explore this within yourself before making global accusations. If there has been any ‘racism’ or ill-conceived nationalism in this debate it has most vociferously come from those Hispanic nationals who insist that “the southwest is rightfully ours”, who flout our immigration laws, and who are vocal supporters of “Aztlan”. If you really care about the Mexican people then you ought to be spending some of your energy supporting major change within the corrupt political system of Mexico that has failed to support and allow a nation of very bright and industrious people from advancing societally and economically nearly as much as they should. Why can't a country with large oil reserves and tons of other natural resources support an economy that can employ it's own populace?
