Huntington Beach Rep. Dana Rohrabacher will stage a protest today in his hometown to show opposition to the immigration bill being debated by the Senate and the continued imprisonment of two U.S. border patrol agents.
For months, Rohrabacher has urged President Bush to pardon the agents.
Along with Rohrabacher, Carlsbad Rep. Brian Bilbray and members of the Minuteman Project will attend the rally from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street in Huntington Beach.

Rohrbacher, Bilbray.....great Americans
Thank God there are some GOP members who still love their country and its citizens
Bilbray sure has come around. He was a squish last year on the invasion.

I don’t know who was in charge of planning this protest but they need their head examined.
Having a political rally at Main St & PCH at noon on a Saturday? Good luck getting there and once you’re there, good luck finding a place to park! Shaking my head...
Now if someone had asked me where to have it?
Beach Blvd. & the 405! Much easier ingress and egress.
And there’s some of the cheapest gas in CA right down the street. :-]
That is where is office is. We have had many rallies there - never had any problems with parking.
“That is where is office is.”
Well how convenient for him. LOL
and he can go surfing afterwards...
which about all he has done since he’s been in office.
And how many people has he drawn on these protests?
forty, fifty?
of course if Dana was looking for MAXIMUN EXPOSURE, the 405 & Beach Blvd. would be the place. Where hundreds, thousands could easily pull off the freeway and join in and HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS could see the signs from the freeway...
Guys this is to give Hillary the presidency, divide the party and get republicans to not show up for elections.
Vote Ron Paul if you are really mad about this. They dont want him in, and BUSH doesnt care. Bush is trying to do something so he can implement MARTIAL LAW. He wins either way.
Congress needs to stop all lawmaking and impeach BUSH.

Ride your bike. I think I’ll ride mine down there, only a few blocks.
Were they thinking of crowd control by holding it there?
“Were they thinking of crowd control by holding it there?”
You’re asking the wrong person since I’m not the promoter. LOL
but anyone, like myself who lives in the district knows;
getting to and from Beach & Main St. at Saturday noon is one royal pain in the arse and finding a parking space once there is slim...so if you’re planning on going;
you better be packing up NOW or get on your bicycle. LOL
The beach traffic there is a nightmare.
“Ride your bike. I think Ill ride mine down there, only a few blocks.”
I’m not thinking of myself but of the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS who do not live a “few blocks” away who would like to come.
What a nice guy you are. I was only thinking about myself.
They keep telling us this is NOT an amnesty.....it seems they don't read the dictionary..if it looks, quacks and walks like a duck, it's a dirty, ugly pig of an amnesty bill.
am·nes·ty noun 1. a general pardon for offenses, esp. political offenses, against a government, often granted before any trial or conviction.
2. Law. an act of forgiveness for past offenses, esp. to a class of persons as a whole.
3. a forgetting or overlooking of any past offense. verb (used with object) 4. to grant amnesty to; pardon.
Bro, the June gloom has been a killer. Ain't nobody down there - the downtown businesses are suffering. Maybe they're in concert with the local CoC to try and drum up some traffic.
“I was only thinking about myself”
Yea, well it’s gonna take a lot more people than you and I to combat this amnesty bill! LOL
And now I will bid you all a good day.
Cyaaaaaaaaa
