Yeah, really - half a story. Does he get to keep the $630,000 advance?

Probably.

Of course, he needs the money to find the "real killer". Which may explain why he hasn't looked in a mirror since the trial.

He was attempting to dine at a high end steak house in Louisville, on the Friday before the Kentucky Derby, with money from somewhere. Fortunately, the owner asked him to leave, and he complied. For which the owner, Jeff Ruby, got a standing ovation from the guests in his dining room.

I intend to patronize his restaurant, the next time I’m up that way, which happens once every year or two.

I think I read that he used the money to pay down his mortgage. Florida law states the court can’t take a person’s house in a judgment, so it makes sense.
