Had the IDF been allowed to send in its armored and infantry divisions, rather than just small company sized “incursions”, Hezbollah would have been overwhelmed. Not that it wouldn’t have been bloody, but it would have been tough for Hezbollah to claim victory with multiple IDF divisons drinking out of the Litani.
