I have two stepsons from Russia. Both applied for residency (I-151), paid their $485 fees (each) with the ICE Dallas Office of Rapid Adjustment (DORA). One was 17 the other 18 when they applied. This office promised a 90-day turn-around. It has now been two YEARS and still no word. The only answer I get from ICE is that their files have been pulled and “background” checks are pending with the FBI and that Immigration has no authority over the FBI. Even my useless congresscritter (Rep. Dr. Michel Burgess) got the same response when I sent a letter requesting his help. His office, too, responds that he has no authority over the FBI and can do nothing.
Does the FBI have email yet, or are they still using quill pens?
Rep. Michael Burgess is actually one of the good guys.
