No. The rest of the nation is much better off with less of anything that originates from Massachusetts so-called academia.

Does this mean that the typical member of a violent street gang has both a father and mother at home?

Professor Patai has apparently dismissed the experience of the African-American “family” in arriving at her inane theory.

Good article. Feminists have come close to destroying the fabric of our society. My local paper today proves that. Not one positive piece celebrating fathers. Instead, there’s an article on the front page from the WaPo entitled “Dad just say you don’t know it.” A museum docent complains that fathers who take their children to museums give them wrong answers to questions. My husband was rightfully disgusted.

I'm going to get in a lot of trouble for saying this, but I don't care.

I was at a Barnes and Noble the other afternoon and sat down reading a good book (History of the Jews by our friend Paul Johnson). I sat there reading when I noticed I was the only guy around. There were three women of various descriptions sitting around me and two others not too distant in the cafe.

The things I saw them reading: The Diana Chronicles, Hair Magazine, People Magazine. Overhearing the conversation of the two in the cafe, I could hear that it was dominated by the dulcet tones of "and she was like...and I was all..."

I had to leave. Perhaps it was the scale of difference between our priorities but there was something surreal in that scene that defied description and I'll never forget it.

IMO, feminists hate real women too. They are loud but not the majority. They can’t stand that some of us are happy in the roles God gave us. Happy Father’s Day guys.

From the article:

This means that children from a fatherless home are:

5 times more likely to commit suicide

32 times more likely to run away

20 times more likely to have behavioral disorders

14 times more likely to commit rape

9 times more likely to drop out of school

10 times more likely to abuse chemical substances

9 times more likely to end up in a state operated institution

20 times more likely to end up in prison

"...children are better off being raised without the presence of men."

I know nothing about the person who has made these remarks, but they are neither healthy, wise, nor balanced, and they are untrue.

Men and women are equally loving, equally good, kind, heroic, strong, wise, beautiful, equally gifted with graces and virtues, equally close to the angels.

Anyone who doesn't understand this is unwise and/or unhealthy.

This wisdom is available to all of us; it's all around us; but some, for whatever reasons, cannot see it or understand it.

I know this as the father of a son and a daughter, both of whom are beautiful, loving, heroic, and angelic.

I know it from my parents. And from my friends. And from my observations.

Scott Beamer was a man. Mother Teresa was a woman.

Anyone who believes the remark hereabove quoted is to be pitied.

Very sad, but very true.

I am very grateful for 30 years of marriage to a good woman and being blessed with the World’s Greatest Kid. I have friends that would trade an awful lot to have a kid like mine. She treats me like every day is Father’s Day.

You don’t really understand how much your parents love you until you have your own children. That’s when my father and I became much closer.

It would be better to be blind than to be unable to love.
